Under Rural Health Camps, initiated by RPL, NetZero-AG, Mars, and The Lord Sarfraz Foundation, and which began in July 2024, the foundation recently conducted a 40-day medical camp in Narowal during the rice transplantation season. This initiative aimed to provide crucial healthcare services to the local community and is part of our ongoing efforts to improve health outcomes in rural areas. The camp focused on addressing a wide range of health conditions prevalent during this period, including insect bites, scabies, dehydration, rashes, malaria, maternal health problems, child malnutrition, cholera, skin allergies, gastroenteritis, eye infections, and injuries. Specific attention was given to women and children, with dedicated camps offering free medications to ensure access to essential healthcare resources.
Additionally, the initiative included raising awareness on personal hygiene practices, emphasizing the importance of maintaining proper hygiene to prevent diseases and promote overall health and well-being among community members. Through these comprehensive efforts, the foundation aimed to alleviate health challenges, empower local women with education on maternal and child health, hygiene practices, and nutrition, and promote sustainable health improvements in Narowal and surrounding areas.
